CSS Padding-left Property

Reference on how to use the padding-left property of css.

The padding-left property of CSS is used to set the left-padding of a given element. All elements can have a padding.

Possible Values

Note: Negative values is not allowed for padding.

Example:

This Example sets the left-padding of all paragraphs to 1.5em, meaning it will have a space of 1.5em, from its left-edge, to its content.

p {
  padding-left: 1.5em;
}
