HTML Rel Attribute

Reference on the HTML Rel Attribute, and an explanation of how its used.

The rel attribute is primely used by search engines. The attribute accepts a space separated list of values.

A very common use is the nofollow value, which sort of tells search engines, that the link should not be trusted.

Rel Example

<a href="http://brugbart.dk/" rel="nofollow">External Link</a>
